Step one of the symmetrical necklace assignment. Students use jeweler’s pliers to wrap wire and create a “drop,” then string on beads on either side of the drop on a wire “bar.” Next class, students will add (their choice) a silver chain attached by a jump ring, or they will attach a wire string using crimp beads.
