About the Artist

Elisabeth Ronley (maiden name Donley) is an artist and educator in Washington State. She was raised with a paintbrush in her hand within a family of artists, and was heavily involved in a professionally equipped art studio for teens called Youth Arts Collective through high-school and early college. She started sharing her love of art and nature with students in 2006 while studying anthropology at University of California, Berkeley. After working in summer camps and after school programs, she earned her teaching credential from Mills College in 2016, then her masters in education with an emphasis in teaching from Mills in 2019 while teaching in Oakland, California. She now teaches painting and ceramics in Auburn, Washington.
